July 4th brings a great opportunity for friends and families to gather for picnics, pool parties, lake outings and lots of memories. It’s one of the hallmarks of summertime, and there is always something fun to do.

Prattville 4th of July Celebration
Prattville’s Independence Day Celebration July 4, all day Fireworks, food, and fun are all part of the Independence Day Celebration planned for Prattville. We will start with a parade at 9 am through Downtown Prattville, ending at Pratt Park where the Lion’s Club will host its Annual BBQ fundraiser with music, a patriotic program, and arts and crafts. The Cardboard Boat Races, starting at 10:30 am, are a great way for families to work together and compete in a fun swimming pool event. The day will end with a FREE concert at 6 pm at Stanley-Jensen Stadium featuring Creativity and a huge fireworks display beginning at dark. Lake Jordan 4th of July Fireworks Show
The free family fun event is hosted by Lake Jordan Fireworks and Lake Jordan HOBO. The fireworks show will take place at 9 pm on Lake Jordan. The fireworks can be seen from most anywhere on the main lake. The HOBO is also sponsoring a boat parade, and that will take place on July 6th. July 4th Celebration on Lake Martin
This is a 2 day Freedom extravaganza. Beginning on July 3rd at Russell High School, you can experience 49 North and Sidewalk Prophets. Fireworks will start at 9:30. Beginning at 10am on the 4th, Boats decorated with flags with an Independence Day theme parade from Kowaliga Marina to Childrens Harbor. Judging takes place and awards are given for the most decorated boats in different categories. Don’t have a boat? Don’t worry. You can spot the fun from Kowaliga Beach.
Later on the 4th, the Southeast’s LARGEST 4th of July Fireworks show will once again fire from The AMP on Lake Martin at 9pm! Come claim your spot on the Grassy Lawn before 5:45, because that’s when The Bank Walkers will take the stage with some great Lake Martin based music! Around 7:45 we’ll have our Hula Hoop Contest and this year the Twist Contest will be back, with prizes for the best hooper and twister! Around 8, from Gadsden, Alabama, we welcome The Tyn Tymes! After the Fireworks, the Tyn Tymes will take the stage once again and will play until 10:30. Come join us on the lawn at The AMP. Tickets are only $10.00 each and can be found on The AMP website.
JULY 4TH FIREWORKS CRUISE
Come enjoy a cruise down the Alabama River to help celebrate the 4th of July. This cruise will include a foreworks display over the Riverfront, live entertainment, concessions and a cash bar. Cruises rain or shine. Tickets are final sale. All seating is General Admission. Cruise departs at 7:30pm. Purchase tickets here.
